The latest GANNI & Levi’s collaboration celebrates both brands’ work towards responsible fashion, sustainability and design innovation – this time through using denim made from hemp cotton. Compared to traditionally grown cotton, cultivating hemp requires less water and pesticides. The hemp that is used to make clothes comes from crop fields irrigated by rainwater, significantly reducing water consumption. Then, the hemp fiber undergoes processes that remove its roughness and make it similar, in look and feel, to regular cotton, all in a sustainable way.
The collaboration builds on the brands’ mutual appreciation and combines their distinctive details. Each piece from the collection features a unique Levi’s x GANNI signature patch. The offer includes unique denim dresses with collars in the style of the so called “Peter Pan”, limited edition GANNI prints and 70s-insipred shapes. The collection draws on the heritage and authentic style of Levi’s and the distinctively subversive designs and styles of GANNI. Everything made from innovative and sustainable materials.
The 14-piece collection includes dresses, shirts, jackets, trousers, T-shirts and sweatshirts and will be available on GANNI.com, Levi.com and stationarily in Poland at Elektrownia Powiśle from 24 February 2021.
